L’associazione socio-culturale “Vivere Licata” presieduta da Ivan Marchese stamattina ha donato alla Chiesa Madre una targa indicativa con il nome della parrocchia e la data di costruzione dell’edificio religioso. Dopo la ristrutturazione della Chiesa madre, il cartello era stato regolarmente posto, ma qualcuno ha pensato bene di reciderlo. Stamattina “Vivere Licata” ha deciso di restituirlo con una cerimonia di consegna a cui ha preso parte anche il prevosto parroco della Chiesa Madre, Angelo Fraccica. L’associazione non è nuova a queste iniziative e come si ricorderà, nel mese di febbraio ha donato una targa alla Chiesa San Giuseppe Maria Tomasi e alcuni cartelli alla zona Fondachello. Il presidente dell’Associazione “Vivere Licata” Ivan Marchese ci tiene a sottolineare il fatto che la donazione è completamente a spese dell’associazione e che il tutto viene fatto solo ed esclusivamente per spirito di amore nei confronti della città e dei suoi più importanti monumenti di carattere storico e religioso. Al termine della cerimonia è arrivata la benedizione di monsignor Angelo Fraccica che ha benedetto sia il cartello che i membri dell’Associazione “Vivere Licata” che sta continuando la sua importante attività sociale e culturale in giro per la città.
