La sede del partito di Rifondazione Comunista di via Isonzo a Licata sabato pomeriggio con inizio fissato per le ore 16 ospiterà un cineforum durante il quale verrà proiettata la visione della pellicola cinematografica dedicata alla figura di “Placido Rizzotto”, sindacalista ucciso dalla mafia a Corleone nel 1948. I componenti della sezione invitano la cittadinanza a partecipare. Gli inviti sono rivolti in primis ai giovani che dopo la visione del film avranno la possibilità di commentare e discutere. “Verrà discussa la figura di Placido Rizzotto – ci dice Angelo Incorvaia – che è stato uno dei padri del sindacalismo in Italia e il conseguente tema della mafia, un fenomeno che seppur in modo minore rispetto al passato, ancora adesso continua ad interessare l’Italia e la Sicilia in particolare”. Incorvaia ha poi lanciato un appello alla cittadinanza per invogliare la gente a partecipare: “Si tratta di un tema particolarmente importante – sono le sue parole – e proprio per questo speriamo che tanta gente aderisca alla nostra iniziativa e venga a vedere il film con noi. Il nostro vuole essere un modo per sensibilizzare soprattutto i giovani. Dopo la visione della pellicola ci sarà un momento di confronto e di dialogo che potrà essere utile alla crescita culturale di tutti”.
