Allarme ambientale alla Foce del Fiume Salso. Una macchia nera di notevole larghezza è stata individuata sulla sponda sinistra. Sul posto sono intervenuti militari dell’ufficio circondariale marittimo di via Libotti e gli agenti di Polizia Municipale. La macchia nera in acqua era visibilmente distinguibile anche osservando dall’alto del ponte che collega il quartiere Fondachello-Playa con il Corso Argentina. Ancora da chiarire le cause che hanno provocato quella che ha tutta l’aria di poter diventare una bomba ecologica. A generare la formazione dell’estesa chiazza, sembrerebbe essere la fuoriuscita di liquido nero da un tubo di scarico afferente all’impianto di depurazione di Contrada Ripellino. La Guardia Costiera ha immediatamente provveduto a prelevare dei campioni di acqua nera che sono stati inviati alla sezione di Agrigento dell’Agenzia Regionale per la Protezione Ambientale per le necessarie analisi e verifiche sull’effettiva natura del liquido.
