Il sindaco Pasquale Amato è stato vittima di un’aggressione ieri sera alle 22,00 nei pressi della stazione termini a Roma, dove si trovava per partecipare ad un seminario. Ad aggredirlo, nel tentativo di rubargli lo smartphone, un ventitreenne di origine siciliana. Amato, però, non si è fatto sorprendere è ha fermato per un braccio il ladro. Di lì è nata una colluttazione nel corso della quale Amato ha chiesto ai passanti di far intervenire la polizia che ha fermato l’uomo che stamattina è stato condannato per direttissima a due anni e due mesi di reclusione. Amato, trasportato al pronto soccorso, ha riportato un taglio al sopracciglio sinistro con prognosi di 12 giorni.
