Falso e truffa aggravata sono le ipotesi di reato contestate nei confronti di 133 falsi braccianti agricoli e di tre imprese di Naro, Palma di Montechiaro e Canicattì rivelatesi poi “fantasma”. L’attività investigativa è stata condotta dallo scorso mese di Gennaio dalla Tenenza della Guardia di Finanza di Licata, coordinata dal comando provinciale di Agrigento. Le fiamme gialle hanno smascherato il percepimento di contributi assistenziali per oltre 400mila euro. Le tre imprese agricole coinvolte nelle indagini avrebbero di fatto svolto il ruolo di “cartiere” allo scopo di presentare all’Istituto nazionale per la Previdenza sociale falsa documentazione attestante 133 rapporti di lavoro. Le tre imprese non hanno mai presentato alcuna dichiarazione dei redditi nè posseduto, acquistato o affittato terreni o macchinari per uso agricolo. I 133 falsi braccianti e i responsabili delle aziende agricole sono stati denunciati dalla Guardia di Finanza alla Procura della Repubblica di Agrigento mentre l’Inps ha già avviato le procedure di rimborso di quanto illecitamente percepito.
