Il Comitato San Leone ha inoltrato ufficialmente al Demanio della Regione una richiesta per l’urgente ripristino del molo di ponente del Porticciolo Turistico. La struttura, infatti, nell’autunno di tre anni addietro è stata danneggiata da una mareggiata che ha causato vistosi danni che ancora oggi pregiudicano la funzionalità dell’area e determinano ancora notevoli potenziali pericoli per gli utenti. Pericoli questi che risultano essere stati rilevati in passato anche dalla Capitaneria di Porto di Porto Empedocle e dal Comune di Agrigento. “In rappresentanza dei nostri associati e nell’interesse dei cittadini di Agrigento e di tutti gli utenti del Porticciolo Turistico di San Leone – spiega il Presidente del Comitato, Fabrizio la Gaipa -abbiamo chiesto al Demanio di volere provvedere con urgenza a ripristinare le condizioni di sicurezza, ma anche di decoro del molo di ponente del Porticciolo Turistico di San Leone”. Tutto ciò premesso, e tenendo inoltre presente l’evidente importanza per lo sviluppo turistico della struttura portuale in questione è importante attuare in tempi brevi tutte le misure necessarie per ripristinare i luoghi.
