Il ministro alla Salute Beatrice Lorenzin incontrerà domani mattina il sindaco Angelo Cambiano, l’assessore alla Sanità Anna Triglia e il presidente del Consiglio comunale Carmelinda Callea per la questione legata alla soppressione del punto nascite dell’ospedale San Giacomo d’Altopasso. La decisione è arrivata improvvisa tanto che i tre componenti la delegazione licatese sono dovuti partire alla volta di Roma nel tardo pomeriggio così da riuscire ad essere nella Capitale domani mattina quando verranno ricevuti alle nove. La convocazione arriva a quasi un mese di distanza dalla richiesta partita da Palazzo di Città (era l’undici agosto). Cambiano, Triglia e Carmelinda Callea avranno pertanto l’opportunità di confrontarsi “de visu” con il ministro Lorenzin a cui esporranno i perché del no, ribadito dalla città con la manifestazione in programma domani.
