Alle primarie del Partito Democratico per la scelta del 90% dei candidati alle prossime elezioni politiche del 24 e 25 febbraio hanno visto la netta affermazione a Palma di Antonino Moscat, sostenuto dal coordinatore Salvatore Tannorella, che ha ottenuto 113 voti su 153 votanti. In assoluto, però, Moscat è stato superato da Angelo Capodicasa che a Palma è arrivato secondo tra gli uomini con 29 preferenze. Daniele Cammilleri, probabile prossimo candidato a sindaco di Licata, ha ottenuto 8 voti, mentre Antonino Sinesio 2.
Tra le donne prima arrivata a Palma Giovanna Iacono con 69 preferenze ma in assoluto è un’altra Iacono (Maria) ad aver vinto anche se nel nostro comune si è fermata a 13 voti, superata anche da Angela Galvano (27) Antonella Maggio (20). Hanno preso voti anche Mangione Sabrina (9), Militello Marcella (7) e Maria Russo (1).
