Entra decisamente nel vivo il mercato del Licata calcio. La giornata di ieri è stata particolarmente intensa per il Direttore Sportivo Peppe Cammarata che assieme al Direttore Generale Galia hanno raggiunto gli accordi per una riconferma, per l’ingaggio di un nuovo volto e per un periodo di prova con un centrocampista. La conferma riguarda il centrocampista Giacomo Lo Monaco, classe 1991, che lo scorso anno si era ben disimpegnato unendo qualità e quantità, meritandosi sul campo la fiducia di società e mister anche per questa nuova stagione. Il nuovo arrivo, già ufficializzato, è quello del centrocampista offensivo ghanese Davies Opoku, vent’anni, dotato di grande velocità e scatto, nonchè di notevole prestanza atletica, che vanta alcune presenze in Lega Pro con la maglia del Gela, e che lo scorso anno ha giocato nelle fila del Castrovillari, nell’Eccellenza calabra. Il giovane ghanese con passaporto italiano in due stagioni con il Gela ha collezionato una manciata di presenze tra i professionisti ma si è ben distino nel settore giovanile per le sue qualità atletiche e tecniche. Il calciatore in prova è Vincenzo Lupo, classe 1990, cresciuto nel vivaio della Roma e che ha giocato in Serie D con le maglie di Tavolara e Belluno. Lupo, centrocampista, sarà aggregato alla prima squadra per il ritiro pre-campionato, durante il quale saranno valutate le sue caratteristiche tecnico-tattiche prima di un suo eventuale tesseramento.
