Grandi risultati per la scuola di karate “Shotokan Dojo” di Licata che ha ottenuto undici medaglie con ben sette atleti vittoriosi nel quinto campionato italiano Fekam disputato il 9 e 10 marzo scorsi al Palasport di Verona. Alla manifestazione hanno partecipato più di mille atleti di circa sessanta società sportive di diverse categorie in rappresentanza di tutte le regioni d’Italia nelle specialità kata e kumite. Due medaglie d’oro, tre medaglie d’argento e quattro di bronzo sono state conquistate dalla polisportiva “Shotokan Dojo”. La scuola licatese di karate diretta dal maestro Lillo Bona, cintura nera 5° Dan e arbitro nazionale, è stata rappresentata da Dora Schifano che ha ottenuto la medaglia d’oro nel kata. Le medaglie d’argento sono arrivate grazie alle performance di Chiara Barbieri e Giuseppe Emanuele Di Franco mentre per il kumite ad aggiudicarsela è stata Angela Maria Emanuela Di Franco. Medaglie d’argento anche per Dora Schifano e Chiara Barbieri, mentre le medaglie di bronzo sono state centrate da Giuseppe Emanuele Di Franco, Vincenzo Giordano, Alessia Cassaro ed Emanuele Curella. Piena soddisfazione è stata espressa dal maestro Lillo Bona con la società sportiva che si è piazzata al decimo posto sulle sessanta partecipanti.
