Nel contesto degli eventi commemorativi per il 145° anniversario di nascita di Luigi Pirandello, si svolgerà, in località Caos di Agrigento, dinanzi la Casa Museo dove il grande Drammaturgo premio Nobel nel 1934 è nato, la consegna delle “Pergamene Pirandello”. Il premio intitolato al drammaturgo agrigentino viene assegnato ormai da parecchi anni a personaggi del mondo della cultura, dell’arte e di altre scienze, su precisa indicazione del Comune della città da cui lo stesso premiando proviene. Quest’anno, tra i premiati, anche la scrittrice licatese, da molti anni ormai residente a Torre Canavese in provincia di Torino, Germana Peritore. La Professoressa Peritore, autrice già di tre libri, sarà premiata con la “Pergamena Pirandello” in correlazione col suo secondo libro dal titolo “Tante Sicilie tante Americhe”, dove la scrittrice si sofferma sulla vita del drammaturgo agrigentino. Sentita, la Professoressa Peritore, si è dichiarata molto lusingata ed onorata del premio assegnatole e che verrà a ritirare di persona il 21 di luglio.
