Licata si mobilita domani contro l’aumento delle tasse deciso dalla giunta comunale. Una manifestazione di forte protesta organizzata dall’ingegnere Salvo Furnò (per un breve periodo assessore della giunta Graci), dalle Categorie Unite e dal Comitato civico licatese sempre vigile sui problemi più scottanti della città e sempre prodigo di proposte e di soluzioni. L’ingegnere Furnò, che ha rivolto un pressante invito di partecipazione ai partiti, ai sindacati (ha aderito la Cisl funzione pubblica del Comune) e ai futuri candidati sindaco, è stato protagonista nei giorni scorsi di iniziative di protesta per sensibilizzare la città sull’assenza totale di democrazia e sull’aumento dei tributi previsto nel nuovo bilancio comunale che si aggiunge agli aumenti degli anni passati. Aumenti insostenibili e inaccettabili che hanno ridotto Licata alla fame e i cittadini all’esasperazione. La giornata inizierà con la mobilitazione della Scuola pubblica contro il governo Monti e proseguirà poi con la manifestazione cittadina contro le tasse locali.
