Come lo scorso anno si terrà a Marina di Ragusa, dal 24 al 31 luglio 2012, la seconda edizione della Summer School “L’immigrazione in Italia: racconti mediali ed esperienze reali a confronto” promossa dal Corso di Laurea in Servizio Sociale della Facoltà di Scienze Politiche dell’Università degli Studi di Messina e dal Centro Interdipartimentale per le Ricerche sulla Sociologia del Diritto,dell’Informazione e delle Istituzioni Giuridiche. Quanto i social network hanno influenzato le recenti rivoluzioni nei paesi arabi e quale è la percezione del fenomeno della migrazione analizzando l’approccio dei vecchi e nuovi media. Sarà questo il tema dell’intervento, per il secondo anno consecutivo, di Francesco Pira, sociologo, giornalista e docente universitario alla Summer School dell’Università di Messina a Marina di Ragusa. E’ previsto anche un video intervento della giornalista marocchina Karima Moual, collaboratrice e blogger de “Il Sole 24 ore” proprio su questo tema. La Moual è stata tra i relatori del summit Euromediterraneo organizzato da Assafrica& Mediterraneo, costola di Confindustria e dall’Associazione italiana della comunicazione pubblica, che è stato moderato da Francesco Pira.
