Ieri e oggi due scolaresche di Gela hanno visitato i nostri luoghi dello sbarco. Grazie alla collaborazione tra l’Associazione Progresso e la Proloco di Licata, gli alunni di un istituto superiore di Gela hanno potuto visitare i luoghi di Licata legati allo sbarco tra cui Mollarella, Pozzo Gradiglia, Castel Sant’Angelo, i cunicoli di Via Marconi, la Grangela e Palazzo di Città. Nell’occasione hanno potuto anche ammirare lo Stagnone Pontillo. Gli studenti durante il primo giorno sono stati accolti dall’assessore al Turismo Massimo Licata D’Andrea e da quello alla Cultura Giusy Marotta che ha colto l’occasione per invitare gli insegnanti alla prossima presentazione del libro sullo sbarco alleato del prof. Calogero Carità. Oggi sono stati accolti a palazzo di città dal sindaco Angelo Balsamo. L’Associazione Progresso non è nuova ad iniziative di questo tipo che sicuramente saranno ripetute e ampliate con la collaborazione di ProLoco e amministrazione. Si è trattato del battesimo per Pozzo Gradiglia appena riaperto e che ha ricevuto la prima visita guidata ufficiale.
