È divenuto ormai un appuntamento atteso la mostra iconografica sulla Settimana Santa, “Passio Domini”, organizzata dalla Pro Loco Licata, attraverso un percorso di immagini, foto e santini d’epoca, si pone come anticipo a vivere i riti pasquali. La mostra si svolgerà dal 07 al 13 aprile, ha il patrocinio dell’AICIS (Associazione Italiana Cultori Immaginette Sacre) e del Comune di Licata che ha messo a disposizione il chiostro San Francesco, dove per una settimana si potranno ammirare immagini suggestive della Settimana Santa, i cui riti e le processioni sono particolarmente sentiti e partecipati dalla popolazione. Sarà aperta dalle ore 10,00 alle 12,00 e dalle ore 17 alle 21 con la possibilità di essere accompagnati da parte dei soci della Pro Loco in una visita guidata lungo il percorso della mostra.
La mostra vuole anche essere un modo per far conoscere le tradizioni di Licata, come richiamo turistico, religioso e culturale, soprattutto per i più giovani, per apprendere le origini delle nostre sentite tradizioni che rischiano pian piano di essere dimenticate.
