L’Asd Piccole Stelle diretta da Alessandro Vecchio, con la partecipazione di associazioni sportive e non locali, organizza un’iniziativa che prende il nome “Sport in Piazza”. La manifestazione, ospitata in piazza Sant’Angelo, inizierà oggi per concludersi lunedì prossimo. Per quanto riguarda il beach volley, ci sarà una prima fase preliminare che si disputerà in spiaggia, al Mandy Club di Mollarella, che durerà quattro giorni. In piazza Sant’Angelo, dove tutte le partite verranno giocate di sera, seguirà la fase finale della manifestazione. Ma ecco il programma completo: oggi l’inaugurazione evento con l’esibizione delle atlete di volley dell’Asd Santa Sofia, domani si disputerà un torneo interforze di beach soccer, il 22 triangolare beach soccer femminile tra la Santa Sofia ed altre due compagini dell’hinterland, il 23 torneo di basket 3 contro 3 e fase finale beach volley 4 contro 4 con animazione musicale in piazza. Stesso discorso per giorno 24. Il 25 si terrà poi la premiazione dei tornei di basket e beach volley, mentre il 26 un mini torneo di beach tennis concluderà la manifestazione alla quale parteciperanno inoltre l’Associazione “Vivere Licata” (con la mostra dei ceri), e ci sarà anche uno stand dell’Aido. Per l’occasione la Piazza Sant’Angelo ha assunto i contorni di un campo di calcio che, all’occorrenza si trasforma in un campo di basket.
