Un turista palermitano in vacanza in questi giorni a Licata è stato aggredito mentre si trovava a passeggio con la moglie e il proprio figlio all’interno del passeggino da un branco di cani che ancora adesso circolano liberamente indisturbati e bivaccano nell’area antistante l’Istituto comprensivo Guglielmo Marconi. L’agguato degli animali è avvenuto nei pressi del Centro commerciale “Il Porto”. Il turista e i propri congiunti se la sono cavata con un grosso spavento ma fortunatamente senza alcuna grave conseguenza. “Ho avuto la prontezza e la lucidità di guardarmi attorno – ci ha dichiarato l’uomo aggredito – e di trovare un pezzo di legno con il quale ho cercato di allontanare il branco. Si trattava di un branco di cani formato da circa dieci animali di taglia grossa che sta mettendo terrore sia ai turisti che agli stessi residenti. Il branco di cani si trova sempre tra la caserma dei Vigili urbani, Vigili del fuoco e centro commerciale Il Porto. Bisogna intervenire – conclude l’uomo – prima che accada qualcosa di irreparabile”.
