“Facebook risorse, opportunità, rischi e pericoli”. E’ questo il tema di una conferenza che terrà il sociologo Francesco Pira, docente di comunicazione dell’Università di Messina ,presso l’Istituto di Istruzione Superiore “Leonardo Da Vinci” di Niscemi il prossimo lunedì 8 aprile alle 10,30. Ad aprire i lavori sarà il Dirigente Scolastico dell’Istituto “Da Vinci” professor Fernando Cannizzo. Introdurrà il docente professor Gaetano Vicari. Il professor Francesco Pira ha coordinato e svolto numerose ricerche sul rapporto tra bambini e adolescenti, vecchi e nuovi media. E’ autore di numerose pubblicazioni sul tema. “Sono particolarmente felice di incontrare gli studenti niscemesi – ha dichiarato Pira – perché da questi incontri vengono fuori sempre aneddoti e curiosità che aprono nuove possibilità di ricerca. Conoscere le potenzialità dei social network è importante ma è altrettanto utile conoscere i rischi”. Pira ha pubblicato “La net comunicazione politica” un saggio già alla terza ristampa edito da Franco Angeli in cui parla della comunicazione politica nell’era dei social network presentato anche a Niscemi lo scorso dicembre per iniziativa del Lions Club.
