Arrivano buone notizie sulle condizioni di salute della studentessa licatese di quindici anni che nello scorso fine settimana ha accusato sintomi tali da far propendere per l’insorgere di una meningite di tipo virale. La giovane si trova ricoverata nel reparto di Malattie Infettive dell’ospedale dei Bambini Di Cristina di Palermo ma il suo decorso è molto positivo e con ogni probabilità è verosimile pensare che a breve potrà essere dimessa e tornare quindi a casa. E questa è senza dubbio la cosa più importante e positiva. Sarebbe scongiurata anche la possibilità di contagio. La studentessa non avrebbe infatti contratto una patologia batterica (quella ritenuta più grave). Poiché la meningite di tipo virale non è contagiosa, nessuno sarà inoltre sottoposto alla profilassi.
