C’è il comunicato ufficiale delle Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro per quanto riguarda l’assegnazione del diritto sportivo per prendere parte alle gare della Serie C silver per la stagione 2015 – 2016. Tra queste figura anche la Studentesca Vivere&Viaggiare Licata che ha centrato il salto di categoria dopo il play-off con la Virtus Canicattì. Sono quindici le squadre che si daranno battaglia nella C regionale. Oltre alla Studentesca, unica formazione agrigentina, ci sono due ragusane: la Vigor Santa Croce Camerina e il Basket Ragusa, sei squadre della provincia di Messina: Patti, Minibasket Milazzo, Spadafora, Capo d’Orlando, Peppino Cocuzza di San Filippo del Mela e lo Sport Messina. Tre le catanesi: Basket Acireale, Gravina e Basket Catania, due le palermitane: Green Basket e Zannella Cefalù. A chiudere il conto l’unica siracusana: la Polisportiva Aretusa. Sarà pertanto un campionato tutto siciliano ma, alla luce delle avversarie, sarà sicuramente un torneo impegnativo per la Studentesca Vivere&Viaggiare Licata del direttore sportivo Dario Provenzani.
