Brutta disavventura per un bambino di un anno che nel pomeriggio di martedì ha ingerito una sostanza irritante utilizzata per la pulizia del vetro (nello specifico dovrebbe trattarsi di un brillantante). Dopo aver accidentalmente assunto il liquido tossico, il piccolo si è subito sentito male e ha iniziato a vomitare. Da lì, la corsa al nosocomio di Contrada Cannavecchia dove è stato medicato e curato inizialmente dai medici del Pronto Soccorso e successivamente da quelli del reparto di Pediatria dell’ospedale San Giacomo d’Altopasso. Il piccolo dovrà osservare un periodo di controlli ospedalieri, i primi due espletati già nella giornata di ieri entrambi con esito negativo, ma fortunatamente se l’è cavata con nulla di grave. I medici che hanno trattato il caso hanno messo in atto il protocollo sanitario che si adopera in questi casi. Per quanto riguarda i presunti casi di avvelenamento, la struttura sanitaria licatese è in contatto con il centro antiveleni dell’ospedale Niguarda di Milano e con un presidio di Bergamo.
