La Studentesca Licata continua la preparazione in vista dell’incontro di domani al PalaFragapane che verrà opposti i padroni di casa all’Olimpia Basket Battiati. Un incontro, che sarà sicuramente combattuto da entrambe le formazioni, specialmente dalla Studentesca Licata che invita gli sportivi licatesi a seguire la prima partita casalinga della stagione regolare del campionato di basket serie C/2. Dopo quello dell’argentino Fernando Manattini, l’acquisto più importante è quello di Carmelo Ettaro, un esterno cresciuto a Patti ma nelle ultime due stagioni a Polistena e Cus Messina, oltre al play maker Ernesto Savarese e del Pivot Mario Pozzo, entrambi compagni di squadra lo scorso anno a Comiso. I confermati sono stati il play – guardia gelese Sergio Abela ed il lungo campano Alfredo Falanga ed i giovani cestisti licatesi Licata ed Incorvaia. E’ tornato a vestire la casacca giallo-blu anche l’esperta ala Ivan Milite che purtroppo nell’ultimo allenamento ha subito una contrattura del quadricipite della gamba destra e che si spera di poter recuperare per domenica. Quest’anno nella Studentesca Licata, che è stata inserita nel girone B siciliano, tornerà a sedersi in panchina l’esperto coach Dario Provenzani che già nelle prossime settimane potrà contare su altri innesti per completare il roster.
