Si è conclusa l’undicesima edizione del Torneo delle Province, la quarta che viene ospitata consecutivamente da Licata. La manifestazione, riservata alle categorie minibasket Esordienti nati nel 2000-2001, ha visto la partecipazioni di sei squadre che si sono sfidate al PalaFragapane e nella palestra della scuola media Guglielmo Marconi. Sabato le gare di qualificazione e ieri le finali al termine delle quali si è proceduto alla premiazione. Ad imporsi è stata la Pegaso Ragusa che nella finalissima ha avuto la meglio della Virtus Trapani per 43 – 24. Larga anche l’affermazione dell’Aretusa Siracusa che nella finale per il terzo e quarto posto ha superato il Victoria Caltanissetta per 15 – 41. Grazie a questo successo i siracusani centrano il gradino più basso del podio. Infine nella finale per il quinto e sesto posto facile successo per la Rappresentativa agrigentina che si è sbarazzata con un eloquente 91 – 10 della Vigor Santa Croce Camerina. Ma in manifestazioni come queste, il risultato conta fino ad un certo punto…
