Festa di sport stamattina allo stadio Dino Liotta. L’impianto di corso Argentina ha ospitato infatti il secondo Memorial dedicato al ricordo del professore Peppe Cammalleri scomparso prematuramente due anni fa. Si è trattato di una manifestazione sportiva studentesca che ha preso il nome di “Uniti nello sport, nella legalità e nella sicurezza”. Importante la partecipazione degli studenti in primis ma anche di docenti, personale Ata e dirigenti scolastici che tutti insieme hanno contribuito alla perfetta riuscita della manifestazione. Vera anima dell’organizzazione della mattinata il professor Giacinto Fontana, docente di Educazione Fisica all’Ipia Fermi, che non ha lesinato sforzi per curare i minimi dettagli. Sul sintetico del Dino Liotta si sono sfidati i Carabinieri, Docenti-Ata, Polizia di stato e Protezione Civile che erano inseriti nel raggruppamento A. Del Girone B hanno fatto parte invece i 4 istituti scolastici che hanno preso parte alla manifestazione e cioè l’Ipia Fermi, il Liceo Linares, l’Istituto Tecnico Re Capriata e l’Istituto Paritario Ugo Foscolo. Le squadre si sono confrontate su un unico tempo di 35 minuti. Chiaramente l’aspetto tecnico è passato in secondo piano. L’obiettivo era quello di onorare al meglio la figura del professore Peppe Cammalleri e anche quest’anno la missione è stata compiuta. Da segnalare la gradinata gremita quasi completamente come non si vedeva dai tempi del Licata in serie C.
