Due runners palmesi sono stati aggrediti ieri mattina da un branco di cani randagi nella zona artigianale della cittadina del gattopardo, da ormai 15 anni utilizzata dagli amanti della corsa come luogo per i propri allenamenti. Si tratta, secondo quanto raccontato da Lillo Inguanta che ha lanciato l’allarme chiedendo a tutti i frequentatori della zona di stare molto attenti, di un branco composto da almeno 15 cani, alcuni dei quali molto grossi ed aggressivi che non hanno paura della presenza dell’uomo e che risultano essere molto pericolosi, dato che attaccano anche in assenza di azioni di minaccia nei loro confronti. “La mia preoccupazione maggiore – ha spiegato Ingunata, maratoneta e da anni assiduo frequentatore della zona – è per le tante signore con bambini al seguito che nel pomeriggio vanno a farsi la camminata. La situazione, già grave da qualche anno, adesso è insostenibile. Prima non vedevamo mai cani randagi, al massimo uno. Da qualche anno piccoli branchi di 3-4 cani, magari al seguito di una femmina. Quello che sto segnalando adesso è una cosa mai vista: sono una tribù”. Inguanta ha anche segnalato di avere già allertati i servizi comunali, non ricevendo risposte troppo rassicuranti.
