Lunedì 29 giugno, al Carmine, conferenza stampa di presentazione dei risultati ottenuti dal progetto “In Comune: formazione e aggiornamento per dipendenti pubblici”. Grazie ad un processo di formazione e aggiornamento ben 75 dipendenti di quattro Comuni dell’agrigentino, Licata, Palma di Montechiaro, Campobello di Licata e Ravanusa, hanno appreso gli elementi essenziali sugli aspetti normativi che regolano l’ingresso ed il soggiorno di migranti nel nostro paese, e le lingue maggiormente parlate dai gruppi etnici residenti nel comprensorio agrigentino: inglese, francese ed arabo. Questo è stato uno dei principali obiettivi perseguiti da “In Comune: formazione e aggiornamento per dipendenti pubblici”, progetto presentato dal Comune di Licata in partnership con la C.U.R.S. (Compagnia Universitari Ricerche Sociali), finanziato nel 2014, tramite il Fondo Europeo per l’Integrazione di cittadini di Paesi Terzi, dal Ministero degli Interni. Il principale risultato è stata la costituzione di un Network per l’accoglienza dei migranti. Gli outputs ottenuti con il progetto appena concluso saranno resi noti il 29 giugno, alle 11 nella sala del Carmine, a Licata, nel corso di una conferenza stampa. Saranno presenti: il sindaco di Licata Angelo Cambiano, il referente del Comune per il progetto Carmelo Occhipinti, il coordinatore del progetto Cinzia Mesi, il responsabile amministrativo Francesco Melodia ed il responsabile per la creazione del Network Giuseppina Rosa.
