Accompagnato dagli assessori Carmelo Sambito e Salvatore La Carrubba, questa mattina, al Palazzo di Città il Sindaco Angelo Balsamo, ha incontrato i massimi esponenti delle organizzazioni sindacali unitarie della CGIL e CISL, a livello provinciale e locali, per l’occasione rappresentati da Massimo Raso e Salvatore Licata (Cisl), Maurizio Saia e Onofrio Marino (Cgil). L’incontro ha fatto seguito ad una precedente richiesta fatta il 21 giugno scorso dai rappresentanti sindacali, con la quale è stata proposta l’istituzione di un tavolo di concertazione permanente sulle problematiche di Licata, richiesta alla quale il sindaco ha risposto positivamente. Nel corso dell’incontro odierno, oltre a fare cenno dei principali problemi che le parti intendono mettere sul tappeto con l’obiettivo comune di migliorare le condizioni generali della città e dei suoi cittadini, a tutela degli interessi collettivi, il Sindaco Balsamo ha avuto modo di illustrare ai presenti già gli argomenti affrontati nel corso di questo primo mese di legislatura e gli obiettivi che intende raggiungere.
